Het is gebaseerd op Pokémon Ultra Sun en Ultra Moon, met Generation VII Pokémon. De Engelse uitbreiding werd uitgebracht op 3 mei 2019, terwijl de Japanse uitbreiding op 1 maart 2019 werd uitgebracht.
